Marquez ends Quartararo’s Free Practice reign in FP4. Championship leader beats the Frenchman and Yamaha’s Viñales before qualifying at Silverstone

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) ended Fabio Quartararo’s (Petronas Yamaha SRT) GoPro British Grand Prix Free Practice reign after setting a 1:59.327 in FP4, beating the Frenchman by almost half a second, with Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) 0.580 back in third.

Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) was fourth, but the session ended badly for fifth place Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) – his GP19 suffering some sort of issue on his in-lap. This could leave the Italian with one bike at his disposal as he contents Q1.

Jack Miller (Pramac Racing) and Karel Abraham (Reale Avinita Racing) crashed - Riders are ok.
