Viñales strikes back on Sunday morning – Championship leader fastest in WUP
Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) bounced back from a damp P6 in qualifying at the Gran Premio Motul de la Republica Argentina to top morning Warm Up, ahead of polesitter and reigning Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) and front row starter Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda).
Alvaro Bautista (Pull&Bear Aspar Team), Scott Redding (Octo Pramac Racing), Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team), Jonas Folger (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Danilo Petrucci (Octo Pramac Racing) completed the top ten.
Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) was P12, with Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) in P15 and P16 respectively.
