Lorenzo leads the charge to qualifying in FP4 as Reigning champion keeps FP3 form before qualifying in Brno
Jorge Lorenzo (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) went quickest in FP4 at the Automotodrom Brno, topping the session from Ducati Team rider Andrea Iannone. Lorenzo, who put in the fastest ever lap by a motorcycle at the track during FP3, is key favourite for pole position in qualifying.
Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was P3, with Lorenzo’s teammate Valentino Rossi in fourth, ahead of Maverick Viñales (Team Suzuki Ecstar), who completed the top 5. Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) was P6, ahead of an improving Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) in P7 ahead of Pedrosa’s trip to Q1.
Hector Barbera (Avintia Racing) was eighth, ahead of Aleix Espargaro (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda), who completed the top ten despite a late crash with no consequence.
