The Tissot Sprint at the Gran Premio MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn de España was an exciting race from the start. The initial start was disrupted by a red flag due to a pile-up at turn 2. Marco Bezzecchi and three other riders went down in the incident, but all returned for the full restart.

Part II
The KTM’s led the pack on the second start, with Binder taking the lead and Miller slotting into second. Martin overtook Miller to take second, but Miller regained it with a divebomb at Dani Pedrosa corner. Bagnaia also took advantage of the situation, and he and Espargaro were in the mix, keeping an eye on the action ahead of them. Miller took the lead from Binder with eight laps to go, but Binder regained the lead a lap and a half from the finish line. Bagnaia snatched second place from Miller in the final lap and finished behind Binder, who won the race. Miguel Oliveira and Dani Pedrosa had an intense battle for fifth place, with Oliveira coming out on top. Johan Zarco tried to overtake Maverick Viñales for seventh place, but the latter successfully defended his position. Jorge Martin missed out on the top three by a mere 0.173 seconds and finished 4th.

The action didn’t stop there as the rookie sensation Raul Fernandez put in a gritty performance to finish in 14th place ahead of Stefan Bradl (Repsol Honda Team) who rounded out the top 15. Further back in the field, Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda IDEMITSU) had a tough race as he was forced to retire from the Tissot Sprint due to a technical issue on his bike. Meanwhile, his teammate, Alex Marquez, had a disappointing race as he crashed out twice, unable to finish the Sprint.
