🏁🇪🇸 Jerez Practice 1 : Pedrosa sets the pace as he rolls back the years

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing wildcard, Dani Pedrosa, has achieved an impressive feat in MotoGP™ Practice 1 at the Gran Premio MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn de España. In fact, the MotoGP™ Legend outdid his competitors and finished at the top of the pile with a late 1:36.770, overthrowing compatriot Jorge Martin from the top spot. Takaaki Nakagami claimed P3 but fell short of Pedrosa’s pace by 0.274 seconds.

Pedrosa, a three-time MotoGP™ Spanish GP winner, joined his teammates Brad Binder and Jack Miller in factory KTM orange this weekend in a Test Rider wildcard appearance. As the time attacks started to file in, Pedrosa initially fell to P10. But he left it late and unleashed the quickest time of the morning on his final flying lap, showcasing his exceptional skills. It’s sensational stuff from the famous #26.

The top five riders after Pedrosa include second place Martin and third place Nakagami, along with Luca Marini from Mooney VR46 Racing Team and Aleix Espargaro from Aprilia Racing. Completing the compelling top 10 are Binder, Alex Marquez from Gresini Racing MotoGP™, Miller, Francesco Bagnaia from Ducati Lenovo Team, and Maverick Viñales from Aprilia Racing.
