A low drama lowside didn’t stop Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez from topping Warm Up in Qatar, ahead of Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and stunning rookie Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3).
leix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), Alvaro Bautista (Pull&Bear Aspar Team), poleman Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP), Jonas Folger (Monster Yamaha Tech 3), Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Ducati Team debutant Jorge Lorenzo and Pull&Bear Aspar Team’s Karel Abraham completed the top ten.
There were two big names further back, with Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) and Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team) in P13 and P14 – split by only 0.019.
