Exciting news for racing fans as the Gran Premio MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn de España got underway, and it was a Spanish top four that grabbed everyone’s attention. Aleix Espargaro and Maverick Viñales from Aprilia Racing took the top spots in front of their home crowd. However, the biggest surprise came from Dani Pedrosa (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), who made a wildcard appearance and secured a spot in Q2 after finishing third overall on Day 1. It was a touching moment to see the veteran rider show his worth and remind us that you never forget how to ride a bike.

As the afternoon approached, the riders faced the challenge of soaring track temperatures, and the competition became fierce as they battled for spots in Qualifying 2. The pressure was on as riders made their final time attacks, with Miguel Oliveria (CryptoDATA RNF MotoGP™ Team) and Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP™) initially making progress. However, it was Jack Miller (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) who made a flying lap to bump Oliveira and Marquez back down the order. The factory Aprilias then took the top two spots, reshuffling the order and making for an exciting Day 1 at the Spanish Grand Prix.
