Lorenzo heads the red charge in FP4 – Ducati 1-2 in the fourth and final Free Practice at Silverstone
Jorge Lorenzo had an interesting session, his bike failed at the other side of the track where no scooter was available to give him a ride. He finally found one (or somebody came to pick him up) and back to the pis he had a brief explanation of his anger with Chief Mechanics; then shake his head; remount Bie number 2 and signed the fastest session time…
With improved track conditions and some sunshine peeking through by the time FP4 got underway, Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) topped the timesheets for Ducati by a stunning six tenths – with teammate Andrea Dovizioso in second. Home hero Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) took third, with Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) and Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) completing the top five.
